Texans didn't like allowing record
Texans interim head coach Wade Phillips said it surprised him that they were still so aggressive.
“I was surprised, but they threw it deep late in the game,” Phillips said. “But that’s part of football.”
Perhaps our old friend Wade is just tired of being on the wrong end of Peyton's record-breaking performances:
Manning broke the touchdown-pass record Sunday against Houston, with Wade Phillips in charge of the Texans defense. Manning previously broke the touchdown-pass record held by Dan Marino in 2004 with his 49th against San Diego, with Wade Phillips in charge of the Chargers defense.
