But I gave everything I had to help our team win last year and be successful, and I don’t have to prove that to him. The people that are in my life, that see me every day, they know it. They know the effort that I put into this game, they know the effort I put on the field, and they know how badly I want to win. I am going to take all those things with me to Jacksonville and continue to give it everything I have to be the best player or teammate I can.

Whatever your feelings on Julius, remember that he's still got one more big contribution to the Broncos, in the form of what should be a third-round pick in next year's draft.

I don't think that's a good excuse for quitting, even if it is true, and I think the situation with Fox was quite different than that of Thomas.

I think Fox knew his days were numbered if he lost early in the playoffs, and he made arrangements for a fall back plan (Chicago) knowing that Elway was going to fire him. Nevertheless, he kept showing up for work.

Thomas sprained his ankle in week 10 and checked out for the year, right then and there.

Did he think that a HOF TE could not see what he was or was not doing on the field?
Does he think that SS does not have close ties here in DEN?
That teammates threw him under the bus or for that matter daddy making those comments.

He obviously lives in his own little world without any real life stuff going on.

these comments about him did not just come from thin air.

That said I was a huge supporter of him, knowing how much PM loves his TE's but after really looking at his production in all realty he is a RZ player almost exclusively.

a team can not afford to have a specialist like that making 8+ mil a year especially someone that has a questionable heart.

IMO they plus Gase were looking forward to better jobs. Or maybe just different ones in Foxs case.
to a team that wanted to play big time Defense and not throw so much.

Looking forward to seeing what his production is in Jacksonville and how often he does/doesn't suit up.

I don't expect players to play "injured" but I probably define injured at below 85% healthy.

His dad was the first one that said he quit, in an effort to preserve himself for a big payday. Coach Fox was BEGGING him to suit up to serve as a decoy, and he declined. Those were his dad's words. So if JT is trying to convince people that he has heart he may want to start a little closer to home.

Well, our eyes and his teammates weren't fooled...it's very clear why Elway didn't sweeten the guarantees after making the first offer...after all, just by making the offer there was a commitment had he accepted...but both sides seem ok with it now...
