John Elway’s Freudian slip explains why he drafted Brock Osweiler over Russell Wilson

John Elway’s faux pas describing Johnny Manziel is the funniest moment of the combine

“I think he’s a great little player,” Elway said.

In the leadup to SB 48, John Elway hinted that he strongly considered drafting the 5-foot-11 Russell Wilson. Instead, he took his son's roommate a guy who stands eight inches taller, and now here's this gem of a quote. Coincidence? We doubt it.

As for Manziel, who already failed to come through on his guarantee to measure in at six feet, he claims that he plays more like he's ten feet tall.
