Fans booed K.C. Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel during introductions, but gave him polite applause during his at-bats.

At least Broncos fans don't boo their own players - amirite Kyle Orton? Can't wait for the Brady Quinn billboards to go up in Chiefsland. (via PFT)

The boo-ing was a lot of things. But lets acknowledge that 2 1/3 mediocre/horrific seasons was part of it too. Call it spoiled if you want, losing is something I don't ever want to be accustomed to.

Come on now. The Orton booing was pre-Tebow and entirely Cutler love/anti McD Backlash. You all forget how spoiled and ugly this fanbase was pre-Tebow.

But, hey, at least we have the Duke inking street vets and drafting late rounders up until the late rounds. We got that, at least. Reminds me some of Dan Reeves, which is ironic to say the least.

There was a certain strain of Orton booer who engaged in conduct unbecoming a Broncos fan. Nothing is going to convince me otherwise on that one. Unlike booing of other players, it was completely disproportionate to his performance or nonperformance. They were embodied by a moron in a 15 jersey whom ESPN showed screaming his dumb head off while the Broncos were on offense during the season opener. That guy embarassed Broncos fans everywhere.

For sure. Fans ought to be happy to see their team go 4-12 in one season and start out 1-4 the next. Especially while hearing phrases like "he gives us the best chance to win" and listening to "experts" tell us how great our current QB really is. Ingrates.

Pretty sure others have been booed also.

Seems to me Giese when he was named starter over Brister was booed as a protest to Tanahan love child.

Think even the great one was booed when he first started out and stunk up the stadium a few times.
