Broncos still figuring out what to do with Clady

Chris Clark ready if Broncos call on him to start at LT

If the Broncos were to place Clady on short-term injured reserve this week, the earliest he could play again in a game would be in Denver’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Nov. 17.

As we'd figured, the Broncos are only considering short-term IR for Ryan Clady, and not the season-ending variety. That home game against the Chiefs falls during Week 11.

Meanwhile, Chris Clark received $1.077M in full guarantees as part of his two-year extension. Clark is expected to start at left tackle in Clady's absence, but the deal was not a response to the injury - it's been reported that the two sides had agreed to terms on Friday before finalizing the deal on Monday.
