Or the Denver Post, gack. And all those cries for that Magical Non-Existent Head Coach to come in to save the day, turn things around quickly with their magic wand. <img alt="hmmm" height="19" src="http://www.singernet.com/images/smileys/hmm.gif" style="border:0;" width="19"> Quickly, meaning another 2 years of starting from scratch.

Instead just have to keep plugging away and hope the 2nd half is a lot better than the first.

DC, as my comments above yours attest, I&#8217m prone to agree. I mean 3 hugely blown calls. At least they were on Denver&#8217s side on the last scoring drive.

I&#8217m not much for conspiracy theories, but the way the officials preferentially call these things is amazing. They ignored two major holding calls and push-off on the tying td, and then failed to flag Dixon for trying to illegally advance the runner (yes, it is illegal to get behind the runner and push).

Yes, the Broncos are playing poorly, but the officials aren&#8217t helping. Along with Jets debacle, if I were a tin-foil hat type I&#8217d be thinking the league office has issued secret orders&#8230

I agree, Underdog. However, we aren&#8217t playing very well. Neither is SF, and my point is that even an average team should be able to destroy SF given the way they are playing this year. Even with our depleted talent level, simple execution would have put this game out of reach a long time ago. But if this drive continues, we could easily lose this game. It&#8217s a lack of execution. Who&#8217s fault is that?

The referees robbed the Broncos basically 3 times in the span of 5 minutes. On that TD the chop block call was BS, then a holding vs Lloyd, and then on that long up for grabs play the 49ers receiver pushed off big time. Maddening.

They should be winning this game for other reasons. too.

In pass protection, I&#8217ve seen everyone on the line get beaten, from Clady over to Graham. It also looks like Moreno is doing a poor job figuring out who to pick up coming in. What makes a squad that was dominant suddenly get beat routinely?

I think I see a lot of QB running lanes during the pass plays with deeper routes. There looks to be guaranteed 5 yard runs there. Does anyone else see that?

The o-line totally reeks right now. The lack of running game this season was the first indication, and now there is no pass protection either. The defense is wearing down because the opponents are always playing from the lead. Might be a long second half&#8230

I&#8217ve been watching the DL. It looks to me like the SF OL is blowing them back 2 or 3 yards on every running play. It seems to me that in the first second after the snap I can tell if SF is going to pass by watching our line. If they don&#8217t get blown back, it&#8217s a pass. I consider this to be a bad omen. It&#8217s why we are dead last in running (well, coupled with the inability for the secondary to make a decent tackle).
