Lloyd traded to Rams; McBean arrested for stalking

3:07PM ET - David Garrard is reportedly to have back surgery. Could this impact whatever market exists for Kyle Orton? Cough..Oakland...cough

2:17PM ET - But wait, there's more! Denver DT Ryan McBean was arrested on Oct. 14 for stalking, according to 9NEWS.

1:36PM ET - According to Schefter, all that it would take for the pick to move up from a sixth-rounder to a fifth-rounder in 2012 is that Lloyd catch 30 passes for the Rams over the remainder of the season. Obviously, this is a highly attainable and likely threshold, and it puts the trade in a much better light.

1:08PM ET - Mort says the Broncos will receive a conditional pick from St. Louis that will come in either the fifth or sixth round of the 2012 Draft depending upon how many receptions Lloyd tallies with the Rams.

1:05PM ET - Chris Mortensen says the deal is finalized, and that Brandon Lloyd is, in fact, headed to St. Louis to be reunited with Josh McDaniels. Still no word on compensation.

12:35PM ET - Howard Balzer seems to think the Broncos are shopping the Rams' offer for Lloyd around in search of a better deal?

12:20PM ET - Not so fast, says Adam Schefter. Apparently there are still a "lot of hurdles." Translation? Conditional draft choice compensation and/or details of a new contract for Lloyd with the Rams?

12:12PM ET - As Ted has pointed out, the Broncos would only be receiving (a) compensatory pick(s) for losing more qualifying free agents than they sign during the next offseason, and that/those picks would not be awarded until the 2013 Draft.

12:07PM ET - Gregg Rosenthal is speculating that the Rams would be giving Lloyd a contract extension, else why would an 0-5 team be trading for a player on the last year of his contract.

11:58AM ET - La Canfora now says the final details are being worked out, but a deal is still imminent.

11:42AM ET - Jason La Canfora says it's a done deal, that Lloyd is heading to St. Louis. No word yet on compensation.

11:37AM ET - It appears Tim Tebow will be without the best pair of hands on the Broncos when he makes his first start of the season Sunday in Miami. Mike Klis is reporting that WR Brandon Lloyd was told not to report today for practice, and that he's most likely headed to the Rams to be reunited with former Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels, who is currently the OC in St. Loo.

Meanwhile, the Raiders have reportedly contacted the agents for QBs David Garrard and Josh McCown about potentially replacing Jason Campbell, who is out for the year after breaking his collarbone in yesterday's win over the Browns.
