Good Morning, Broncos fans! In addition to the players who have already been ruled out (Brian Dawkins, Robert Ayers, Andre’ Goodman, Darcel McBath and Wesley Woodyard), Knowshon Moreno and Demaryius Thomas did not practice due to injury. Andre Brown missed practice due to illness, while Mario Haggan and Spencer Larsen were limited participants. The Broncos added LB Lee Robinson to the practice squad. Robinson had been a 2009 UDFA signee for Denver before being on the practice squads of the Cards and Bucs.
Andrew Mason assesses the injury situation.
Legwold considers how the Broncos might defense Jets TE Dustin Keller personnel-wise.
Elvis Dumervil says everything was above board in accused agent Gary Wichard’s recruitment of him.
Legwold on Alphonso Smith and his quick departure from Denver, plus how Champ Bailey’s contract situation may or my not relate to it. You know, it’s one thing to admit and own your mistakes. It’s another to diagnose them a bit prematurely…

Lots of news from San Deeahhgo. Firstly, they placed LB Shawne Merriman on short-term IR, which means he’ll be released soon, once healthy. How many annoying puns do you think that will generate along the lines of the lights going out on Lights Out in SD?
WR Vincent Jackson is reportedly going to report to the Dolts in order to accrue his final season before free agency.
Former holdout LT Marcus McNeill got paid, $24.5 million in guarantees as part of a five-year extension.
Finally, the Dolts have a revolving door at long snapper.
Some notes on the Chefs.
QB Bruce Gradkowski did not practice yesterday, while RB Darren McFadden and OG Robert Gallery did.
I put this in Week 1 but somehow have missed it since. No longer. Here’s the CBS map for where the Broncos will be on TV locally on Sunday. Unfortunately, we get Dierdorf…
Former Broncos RB Mike Bell was traded by the Iggles to Cleveland for RB Jerome Harrison, who doesn’t like being stuck behind another former Broncos RB on the depth chart who I won’t name today.
The Vikings added CB Frank Wright.
Sounds like the Packers will place TE Jermichael Finley on IR.
If you hadn’t heard, Big Ben is back.
Unfortunately, Mike Lombardi does not consider that there’s a big difference in the success rates of onside kicks that are a surprise versus those that are expected, in evaluating Todd Haley’s call on Sunday.
Andrew Brandt wonders how his pal Favruh and his purported pervert pecker pics will affect the NFL’s conduct policy.
Meanwhile, Favruh got hit in said pecker during practice. Funny video, especially because it’s him.

Meanwhile, the Broncos drop to #23 on Mike Silver’s less scientific weekly rankings.
