No Mora deal yet Lard 1-19-11

Good Morning, Broncos fans! Jim Mora apparently left Denver without a job offer last night, although LJ says Mora is still John Fox's top choice for the vacant defensive coordinator position at this point. To correct my own assertion from two mornings ago (and LJ's in the linked article), Packers DL coach Mike Trgovac will only be available once Green Bay's season is over. Assistant coaches on current playoff teams may only interview for head coaching positions - not for any other job (p. 8), promotion or not. I'm sorry for any confusion I may have caused you.

Woody goes on to say that Kyle Orton didn't handle his own demotion well and didn't support Tebow once their roles were reversed. Plus, Paige says the coaching staff was disappointed in Brady Quinn in 2010 and he could see the Broncos signing Jake Delhomme to back up Tebow.

PFW is hearing that in addition to Orton, DJ Williams is potential trade bait for a draft pick.

Although hiring John Fox wasn't a direct reach for the past, Legwold thinks Elway wants the Broncos' offense to look more like it did during his own years with Shanny.

Legwold's probing analysis says the Broncos need help on the defensive line.

Meanwhile, the Crypt Keeper says he fired Tom Cable for his abuse of women. Wow, never thought you'd be proud of a decision from Big Al, did you? Assuming he's being honest, of course...

According to the Crypt Keeper, Cable had kept some of his abuse accusations a secret.
