I’m glad we had this talk. Now, vaya con Dios, Brah.
Agree, disagree, just like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter so I can quit my day job.
I was thinking Ray Buchanan. ;)
I am just hoping that the NFL is asking themselves, who would we rather have as the face of the NFL, Richard Sherman or Peyton Manning?
I´m not too fond of his reaction, that´s for sure, but I think it´s fair to give him a chance to explain what happened, and he wrote about that today: http://mmqb.si.com/2014/01/20/... . Apparently it all goes back to something that happened during the offseason in Arizona, but he refused to elaborate too much on it. (ETA: he also strongly condemns the behavior of fans who disrespected Bowman after his injury)Also, leaving aside the matter of PED use (because I don´t have enough elements to formulate an informed opinion), I have to say, after watching this video (http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-... ), he strikes me as not only a very smart person, but also a quite endearing one, even if I can understand why he rubs many the wrong way (I´d like to point out, though, that his always candid quotes always engage only what his opponents do on the field, which is a far cry from some of the vicious and prejudiced stuff other players display). His teammates say his MO is to shut up until someone opens his mouth, which is when all bets are off, and judging by what happened with Brady in the "Are you mad, bro?" incident, it might well reflect the truth.
Hopefully this helps bring some negative attention to the Seahawks. No doubt that Sherman can play, but I can't stand how disrespectful he is, and his endless self promotion is annoying. Hopefully DT is ready to play I loved to see him shut this moron up in the superbowl.
It's Sherman that should be embarrassed. He was still pissed off from whatever Crabtree said to him after that play. There is no way he should have let whatever Crabtree said to him get to him that bad. If it's that easy I guess whoever is being covered by him just needs t tell him he ISNT the best corner in the league and he will then lose his cool, and the game will be easily won after that. What a fuckin douche bag moron. I hope he gets fined.
An interesting perspective on the situation. I am not saying Sherman was in the right, but still some interesting thoughts http://www.forbes.com/sites/to...
Except Sherman comes out as the type that would believe the WWE is for real.
Sherman is the new Hollywood Henderson, the guy who ran his mouth before Super Bowl 13 against the Steelers. He said that Bradshaw couldn't spell cat if spotted the c and the t, he said that Lambert was a "toothless chimpanzee" and that TE Randy Grossman (sort of a Jacob Tamme-type player) only played if someone died or got shot.
I loved how that worked out for him. Loss. That's how it will be for Sherman as well if he opens his mouth (it will be, anyway).
He went to Stanford. Oh wait, Harbaugh was his coach. Never mind.
This may be true. If so, Sherman's problem is he has no sense of humor. He just comes off as mean. Same thing when he blasted Skip Bayless and pissed everybody off by making them feel mildly sympathetic to that creep for a nanosecond.
By your logic Steve Ballmer was fine when the was throwing chairs around and was going to "fucking kill Google".
Painfully insecure narcissist struggles to keep from revealing his power-over simple-mindedness?
Can you imagine how many Bronco fans he just made?
Highly paid competitor struggles to maintain discipline over motivation for excellent play. Judge that man!
Maybe Wes Welker can "Talib" him on a first quarter crossing route in a couple of weeks...if you know what I mean.
Good DB yet he is a douche bag.
Believes the hype.
Believes what he reads.
Sherman has no class. It's funny that people have been trying to tell me how smart he is for two years he acts like a piece of shit if you ask me.
I am hoping there is a lot of attention to Sherman and the way the DBs mug the receivers. I am not a conspiracy theorist but I would love the NFL to tell the refs not to be afraid of throwing some flags this game. Maybe this attention can work in our favor.
I took it more as theater a la WWE than true craziness. He did have the wherewithal not to get bleeped.
The poorest display of lack of sportsmanship I've ever seen. That is, since Golden Tate taunted in the Rams. Russell Wilson withstanding, The seahawks have zero class.
Yeah, I don´t think there´s any measure by which Crabtree is a "sorry receiver". He might not be one of the best, but he´s certainly full of qualities.
Erin Andrews looks so embarrassed! That's the look I have when I see someone socially humiliate themselves. I just stare down at the ground because I can't look someone straight in the eye when I am uncomfortable.
