Reports conflict on Broncos’ interest in Julius Thomas, who’s heading to Jags

While Julius Thomas is expected to sign with Jacksonville on Tuesday for $9M/year, there are conflicting reports concerning whether Denver tried to retain their explosive tight end.

According to Ian Rapoport, Denver, Seattle, and Oakland all made significant attempts to sign Thomas. But Mike Klis says the Broncos never even bothered calling their 2011 draftee.

They obviously can't both be right, but either way, Denver has some serious red zone production to replace, starting tomorrow.
