According to the Denver Post, free safety Rahim Moore will miss "several weeks" with what is being called a "serious lower leg injury."
Moore had two tackles and defensed one pass prior to his second quarter departure on Sunday night.
Mike Adams took over for Moore and logged three tackles of his own.
Prior to the Chiefs game, Moore had graded out at a respectable +1.7 in a Broncos-leading 642 defensive snaps this season. Rahim also played more than any other Denver defender in 2012, when he earned a +9.0 grade over 1,082 regular season snaps.
His absence would also figure to mean more playing time for David Bruton and maybe even Omar Bolden.
