I am sorely disappointed by this call and a few others. The red zone stand near the end was a blatant and obvious hold. I don't care what the know-nothing announcers say. That was a penalty.
There was a phantom PI called on Culliver too. It was on a 3 and 9 or something and kept the Ravens alive.
beating the troll drum I see.
i guess you guys already knew that
man that jacoby jones is fast ha
I missed the first half. After I started watching it on NFL Rewind - somehow I didn't feel like continuing. So I opted for a few minutes of the Broncos last game.
This was a pretty exciting SB. Nothing like a red zone stand - almost a goal line stand - to preserve the victory. I thought that the safety was a great idea taking 8 seconds off the clock. NE did that to us a number of years ago.
I was just a tiny bit rooting for the Ravens. I guess I was for the underdog. I really didn't get into it until I started watching the game. Then - yes - I enjoy football.
I'm just glad as an SF resident that I didn't have to deal with rioting en route home tonight. I missed part of the game being out for awhile but when I heard the power went out at the Superdome I pictured Johnny from Airplane! holding the plug, then saying "Just kidding!"

Ugh. I am trying to focus on the fact that a class act like Ed Reed or a bad-ass like Anquan Boldin goes out on a high note.
That was a heck of a super bowl! Regardless of personal feelings we may have about him, Baltimore's hero gets his storybook ending. If any other franchise can appreciate that, it's us. Congrats Balmer!
As frustrating as this has been, Flacco checking to a throw on third-and-a-foot and sticking it into extremely tight coverage was pretty ballsy.
If I'm "rooting for" something, it's for both to lose. The Ravens for winning in Denver this year, and the 49ers for beating Denver the last time we played a Super Bowl in New Orleans.
How is Williams not ejected for that? He shoved the ref back with both hands?
I am not particularly motivated to care about either team. Perhaps I should root for the referees.
I need a third poll option: "The Paramedics"
Go Niners! As far as any sentiment for the Ravens because they won at Denver, and all that, the Ravens took care of that by pounding the Patriots.
