Is Welker still a bit miffed with Belichick, e.g., his contract situation and the earlier season tiff between the two? For the right price, I'd sign Welker to a two or three-year deal.
Now nine years since the Patriots have squeaked out a videotape-scandal tainted Super Bowl by a field goal. I think we should make them try again next year without Wes Welker.
While I agree with you in principal, if my teams get beat in a championship run, I prefer the team that beat them be the champs (it helps in my grieving process).

Awesome. Love seeing the Patsies lose. And, even better that a passing-based, modern offense, run by the supposed offensive genius McDaniels, is getting their asses kicked by a team with a reputation of defense and rushing.

This game makes me even sadder about the lost opportunity last week.
Was just thinking that too. I honestly didn't expect Broncos to blow out Ravens anyway, Just expected them to win. But there's clearly no shame in having lost a close one to them--they're peaking again, and defense is playing well.
Looks like they've about sealed it. I'm not really all that happy in that I don't really like the Ravens anyway and "Harbaugh Bowl" blather for two weeks will be torture, buuuuuut seeing the smug Patriots and their fans (like Bill Simmons) get very pouty will make it worth it.
I am feeling less bad about the Broncos not blowing out these Ravens.New England may still win, but this is anybody's ball game.

I stopped caring about football the day the Broncos lost. Thankfully it's the beginning of the Supercross series.
Watching lamichael james play today makes me excited for the possibilities with hillman. I really hope he hits the weight room hard this year.
Also is there any substance to the blurb about R. Moore being a lock room issue? I thought he really came along this year. And would haye to see it go to waste. And if you compare him to a guy like William Moore he is ahead of schedule.
