Here are the day's inactive lists. Enjoy the games, and Go Titans!
Anybody home?Rapistburger is dueling Cutler, and looking pretty bad in the process.
The "overrated" Colts are crushing the 49'ers in SF. Harbaugh looks less like the genius that he thinks he is. Meanwhile, Alex Smith and KC start 3 and 0. I bet that won't go unnoticed in SF.
I´m really not impressed by Kaepernick´s touch. He´s got a rifle, but his passes don´t appear very catchable, to use WR lingo. Right now, with his 2 completions, he has completed less passes than Chad Henne.
I agree, but most coaches probably don't want to get into debates with reporters. They just want to do their time and get out of there. Coaches that enjoy press conferences carry their own risk factors.
No funny about Foxy.
I understand it must be fairly unpleasant, but since it happens anyway, why not arm yourself with statistical and historical evidence that supports you? I doubt many reporters would argue against maths in press conferences.
Because they get grilled passive aggressively at press conferences and they can't get out of that.
Never heard of that anecdote. Thank you Mr. Petrov!
Down votes build character.
And it wasn't me. I save mine for special people.
Reminds me of Stanislav Petrov. His common sense and giant balls prevented the world from getting its tits blown off 30 years ago.
:( .... Why the down vote? I was just trying to make a funny.
I´m sure glad the world has nuclear bombs to protect it!
The Chargers, inventing new and renewing old ways to lose since... not enough years to make us happy, but we´re still enjoying it!
It always amazes me to see how sensitive coaches are to public pressure. Players know they have to avoid newspapers and the like after impactful games, be they good or bad. Why can´t coaches just follow a few sites that review 4th down decisions based on stats, and just ignore the blather of typical sports pundits?
Unbelievable. Well, it's San Diego, so I guess it's believable.
Wow !!Wonder if the government would have needed to blame the Russians, just to save face?
John Fox: "You see you IAOFM writers. This is what happens!! GFY. I'm the coach and we win!!"
Speaking of the Panthers, did anyone read about how the Carolina panthers were one low voltage Home Depot electrical switch away from being the Carolina Radioactive-craters?
The Cincinnati-Green Bay game is wild. Let´s hope no one eviscerates McCarthy for his decision on 4th down, because it was the right one. The RB´s the one who should be raked over the coals.
This Cincinnati=GB game is pretty nutty. I know it's better for the Broncs if Cincinnati loses, but I don't like GB.
And TITANS scores!!! What an end.
Kubiak isn't perfect, but I think back to that 22-19 win over the defending champion Raiders in the LA Coliseum before a record crowd and I will root for him forever.
I was 20 years old and in a bar in North Hollywood watching that game. This Raider fan who was twice my size was ready to kill me when this waitress came over and told us both to shut up (to my everlasting gratitude).
He´s decent at some of the most important parts of a coaching job, as outlined by IAOFM, but he´s also dragged them down with some of his strategic decisions. I´d describe him as a coach able to make your team consistent, but never excellent.
What is Ray Lewis doing on the Baltimore sideline, openly cheering the Ravens, talking to the officials, and giving advice to the Ravens players? I thought he was a "journalist" now.
I've said it before, but today is more proof - Gary Kubiak is not a good coach.
The Panthers defense is destroying the Giants in all phases. Six sacks and they've held them to 12 yards on nine carries, including a 14 yard scramble by Eli.
