Negative MRI on Franklin Lard

Good Morning, Broncos fans! Right tackle Orlando Franklin is not expected to play in Thursday's preseason opener at San Francisco.

However, the team got great news in the form of an MRI which showed no serious damage to Franklin's injured hip.

Provided that the newly unretired Ryan Lilja is physically ready to do so, Jeff Legwold says to look for Louis Vasquez to start at right tackle on Thursday, with Lilja taking over for Vasquez at right guard.
