Fannin clears waivers, placed on IR

We interrupt your regularly scheduled Tim Tebow/Kyle Orton debate for some other news this afternoon.

The Denver Broncos reported that undrafted free-agent running back Mario Fannin cleared waivers and is now back with the Broncos on injured reserve.

Yesterday the Broncos waived Fannin due to a knee injury he suffered in practice earlier in the week.

By all accounts, Fannin was killing it in his first week of training camp, so this cloud (the injury) has a silver lining for both Fannin and the Broncos.

While this means we won't be seeing Fannin this year, we've not seen the last of this kid as a Bronco.   As you can see from his college footage, his upside is huge.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled Tim Tebow/Kyle Orton debate.

I’m glad we had this talk.  Now, vaya con Dios, Brah.
