We're starting a new entry to cover news from 5PM ET and beyond, see above.
4:29 PM Jason Cole: Denver pursuit of DT Paul soliai is slow because of manning. KC also interested and Miami wants him back.
4:18 PM Adam Schefter: Free-agent safety Brandon Meriweather plans to visit the Denver Broncos tonight.
4:48 PM Pierre Garcon: I wanted you all to hear it from me 1st before u saw it on the news... I will be signing with the Washington Redskins and I'm very excited about the opportunity in front of me.
3:56 PM Jay Glazer: Major scoopage! The Chicago Bears have agreed to terms of a trade w Miami for pro bowl WR Brandon Marshall in exchange for 2 third-rounders.
4:12 PM Albert Breer: Here in Denver, with the Broncos working to get Brodrick Bunkley a deal, club has already reached out to Miami FA DL Paul Soliai.
3:12 PM Bill Barnwell thinks the Broncos are among the teams that should spend big starting today:
That could start by adding Peyton Manning, but if [not, then] a deep threat like Robert Meachem would help things, as would a pass-catching tight end...they could make a run at John Carlson or Kevin Boss, who was released by the Raiders on Monday.
The team could [add] Lions run-stopper Stephen Tulloch to play the middle and play Nate Irving on the weak side. [4-3 OLBs that fit are] Erin Henderson, Rocky McIntosh, and Philip Wheeler. They should be in the market for the likes of Brandon Carr and Cortland Finnegan, especially the former.
Manning might insist that his new team sign Reggie Wayne, which would move Decker into the slot while taking away his starting spot. The Broncos would also likely seek a pass-catching running back and could add another Manning teammate, Joseph Addai.
3:04 PM Mike Klis: Not that DT isn't a priority: Broncos trying hard to get Brodrick Bunkley deal done by 2 p.m. Other than Bunkley _ oh, and Peyton Manning _ Broncos not expected to get aggressive in first day or two of free agency.
2:12 PM Perrish Cox: Source: Former Broncos CB Perrish Cox has signed a 2-year deal with the 49ers.
2:07 PM Omar Kelly: For the record, I'm putting my money on Paul Soliai ending up in either Denver, San Francisco or Indianapolis. And they are in order.
12:35 PM Mike Klis: Titans' SS Babineaux was on Broncos FA board. He just re-signed. Dwight Lowery, B. Meriweather, Reggie Nelson _ Broncos must strike here.
11:50 AM According to PFT, the Broncos are among several teams interested in Dolphins free agent NT Paul Soliai.
4:41 PM Dave Hyde really thinks the Marshall trade is a precursor to Miami signing Manning & Co.
4:20 PM Dave Hyde: I agree with Marshall Faulk saying on the NFL Network this trade is to bring in Peyton Manning. Faulk knows Manning, having played with him in Indy. Doesn't mean he's right here (or that I am). But there's clearly something big behind trading Marshall, because the Dolphins got crushed in the trade. Two third-round picks for a guy who has cap-friendly contracts for Chicago? Why do that unless there's something bigger to it? Stay tuned.
\4:13 PM Dave Hyde: Does this Brandon Marshall trade mean the Dolphins will sign Reggie Wayne to get Peyton Manning? Did Manning say he'd rather throw to Wayne than, say Marshall? Or are the Dolphins going to bring in Matt Flynn and don't want Brandon Marshall to contaminate him? All theories are in play. All we know is the Dolphins sold Marshall on the cheap for what they paid for him.
3:51 PM Andrew Mason: John Lynch, speaing on @siriusxmnfl, says "There's a great connection, a comfortable feeling" between Manning & Elway.
3:27 PM Vic Lombardi: ENOUGH with the 95% thing. I'm 30% certain I'll never use percentages when quoting a source again. But the Broncos like their chances.
3:24 PM Brandon Stokley spoke to the guys on the Drive yesterday about his workout with Peyton Manning:
Out and about, nobody can see us, so we head over to that field, just me and him, and we’re ducking and dodging the joggers and bicycle people, people riding bikes, every time somebody rides by in a bike one of us puts the ball under our shirt and just turns the other way. We end up getting some good work in, probably about 35 or 40 minutes and nobody recognized us or anything so it was great.
2:55 PM Albert Breer: My understanding is the Titans would keep Jake Locker in place behind Manning, or at least that's the plan, and continue to develop him. And the bottom line with the Titans needs to be remembered too ... Which seems to be, what Peyton wants, he'll get if he goes there.
2:51 PM Albert Breer: Anyway, everything still calm here in Denver. Broncos seem pretty comfortable with their position in all of this, and their pitch to Peyton.
2:40 PM Bucky Brooks thinks Peyton Manning's age, recent injury history, and specific offensive system should give teams pause when considering signing him.
2:31 PM Dave Hyde: Peyton Manning and his CAA agency have played this timeline perfectly. I wondered why he was released last Wednesday when it could've been two weeks earlier and given plenty of time to make his decision before free agency. But the deadline of free agency has created a competitive feeding frenzy and deadline where Manning's going to get everyone's best deals. He must have them in hand now. The only question is if he's going to push past the 4 p.m. deadline for more money. Yes, it's also about $$$
2:06 PM Omar Kelly: I have NO IDEA if this is true....we'll only know once he's signed, but I've heard the price for Manning is $65 million over 3.
2:00 PM TitanInsider: Hold off momentarily on Peyton-Munchak meeting. Munchak just left airport with Steve Hutchinson, says Paul Jones of Fox 17 who saw them
1:52 PM Adam Schefter: Despite speculation that Houston still could make a run at Peyton Manning, the Texans have no plans to pursue the free-agent QB.
1:24 PM Albert Breer: Titans group that will meeting with Peyton Manning will be headed up by head coach Mike Munchak and offensive coordinator Chris Palmer. Munchak's a very good recruiter -- Big reason Hasselbeck signed. And Palmer coached Eli in New York from 2007-09. Just to clear this up (not a big deal) ... Reporting that Palmer/Munchak will meet with Titans today or tomorrow. Location not clear.
12:17 PM Albert Breer: I'm told that Reggie Wayne does NOT necessarily see his future tied to Peyton Manning's. He could well sign somewhere before Peyton does. That opens an interesting dynamic where Peyton contenders could make a play for Wayne today/tomorrow, use him to recruit Manning after.
12:12 PM Omar Kelly answers questions: @RealWilliamCarr: Media is making it out that Denver is leading for Manning. - I told you that Saturday. Done. Dream team assembly time...@rickysant: how do you read Peyton Manning? - he's a creature of habit who will turn Denver into Colts west, plus Tolbert & Soliai...@RyanMcQuinn: These nat'l radio guys keep saying tebow to Miami. Do they not know WCO?? - Tebow WILL be traded. Doubt he lands in Miami
12:00 PM Jeff Darlington: I keep hearing "courtesy" used to describe Miami/Manning interview. I could buy it's for leverage -- but how is wasting time a courtesy? Dolphins, by the way, still feel like they're in mix. Maybe they're naive to Manning's beliefs, but they've yet to give up on possibility.
11:50 AM Tennessee is hoping to sign G Steve Hutchinson to make them more attractive to Manning.

2:50 PM The Chargers re-signed C Nick Hardwick.
2:49 PM Calvin Watkins: Terence Newman was released today as was David Buehler.
2:42 PM Carolina restructured the contract of LB Thomas Davis.
2:34 PM NFL.com: Report: Giants' Baas restructures deal to ease cap space
2:19 PM NFL.com: Raiders reportedly restructure LB Curry's contract
2:13 PM PFT: Jags re-up veteran punter Nick Harris
2:02 PM Adam Schefter: Chargers will release OT Marcus McNeill this afternoon, according to his agent, Alvin Keels.

11:50 AM The Giants re-signed CB Terrell Thomas.
4:49 PM Omar Kelly: Former Texans OT Eric Winston is in play for the Dolphins. Nothing official, but the Dolphins are in the bidding I'm told.
4:46 PM Mike Lombardi: Expect QB Jason Campbell to visit the Bears soon--they are working on a deal.
4:44 PM Bucs beat writer Stephen Holder says Vincent Jackson is nearing a deal to join Tampa Bay.
4:39 PM Mike Lombardi: Sounds like the Bears wont get Mario Williams, the deal is getting too rich and appears the Bills are in the lead--with the most money
4:34 PM Adam Schefter: More visits: chad Henne expected to visit Jacksonville, Kyle Orton expected to visit Dallas.
4:33 PM Jason La Canfora: Dallas WR Laurent Robinson on his way to visit the Jags. Cowboys will try to keep him #freeagency

4:27 PM CBS: Pierre Garcon talking to the Rams and Redskins, according to Adam Schefter.
4:18 PM Adam Schefter: Free agent defensive end Mario Williams plans to visit the Buffalo Bills tonight.
4:07 PM Drew Magary: When you trade for Brandon Marshall, you also get a brick through your windshield as a throw-in to the deal.
2:46 PM Omar Kelly: What can $9.8 million in cap space buy the Dolphins? My best guess is Matt Flynn and Kendall Langford. Stay tuned.
2:19 PM PFT: Rams expected to pursue free agent cornerback Carlos Rogers
12:10 PM John Clayton figures Shanny & Co. to be after Eddie Royal, as we've long expected. Vincent Jackson and Cortland Finnegan are other possible targets. Plus, he says the Browns could pursue Kevin Kolb if Arizona signs Manning and cuts the ex-Eagle. Clayton sees Seattle and Atlanta as suitors for Mario Williams.
12:02 PM Brad Biggs: Not sure if #Bears can land Mario Williams & big-time WR. Word is they are working "hard" for Vincent Jackson. Lot of smoke out there though
11:50 AM Word out of Seattle is the team may aggressively pursue both DE/LB Mario Williams and QB Matt Flynn.
11:50 AM Jim Trotter says the Saints are trying to re-sign G Carl Nicks, while the Seahawks are trying to lock up DT Red Bryant.
