Injury Report: Phillips questionable with back spasms

There's a chance the Broncos will get back one key defender Monday, in Champ Bailey. But Champ's possible return could be offset some by the potential absence of Shaun Phillips, who missed practice Saturday due to back spasms.

Bailey, Phillips, and Joel Dreessen are listed as questionable on Denver's final injury report for the week, while eight others are probable.

Dreessen and Bailey, who have not played yet this season, were limited participants on Saturday, while Duke Ihenacho was a full participant for the first time all week.

As expected, S Tyvon Branch, T Menelik Watson, and TE David Ausberry have been ruled out for Oakland; G Lucas Nix is questionable after having been a limited practice participant for the second straight day.

  • The Broncos apparently see newly signed tackle Winston Justice as being versatile enough to play either tackle position
  • Montee Ball says he understands the importance of ball security, while Knowshon Moreno still sees room for improvement in his own play
  • Andrew Mason discusses Oakland's diverse pass rush.
