For the second time in as many weeks, a Broncos player has been recognized with an AFC award. Trindon Holliday, who essentially sealed Sunday's victory over the Giants with an 81-yard punt-return score, is the AFC Special Teams POW for Week 2.
Holliday received the same honor in Week 9 of last season, after he returned a kickoff 105 yards against Cincinnati. Peyton Manning was named the AFC Offensive POW for his seven-touchdown performance in Week 1.
The diminutive speedster now has five return scores as a Bronco, which places him second in franchise history to Rick Upchurch, who had eight.
