Have we seen the last of Brandon Lloyd?

Good Morning, Broncos fans! Yesterday was only Wednesday, but Tom Coughlin showed he's already sick of the questions surrounding fumble-prone running back David Wilson:

Geez. Man, oh man, oh man, oh man. I can’t say any more about David Wilson, except that if I watch him in practice and his technique doesn’t improve, I’ll let you know. OK? I’ll let you know. In practice he’s going to have to have the ball in that position all the time, not just when he thinks he’s running free and there’s nobody around him. I want to see the ball in the right spot all the time.

And quite frankly there’s nowhere else to go with this. I don’t know what else to say to you. I realize it’s a major issue for everybody. But there’s a way to carry the ball and there’s a way to protect the ball. Ball security is No. 1. And that’s what he’s going to have to demonstrate.

The G-Men head into Sunday's showdown with running backs Wilson, just-off-the-street Brandon Jacobs, Da'Rel Scott, who injured his knee yesterday, and Michael Cox.

Presumed starter Andre Brown, the former Broncos taxi-squadder, was injured after Coughlin controversially trotted him out for the Giants' preseason finale.

Granted, the Giants' chances Sunday figure to be more closely tied to their defensive issues than their running back depth, but this is no small problem.

We're guessing that Wilson gets the call, and the chance to reprove his worth to Coughlin, but Denver's defenders also figure to be on high alert for stripping him of the ball.

Turnovers did the Giants in against the Cowboys, and against the Broncos, they would be even more costly.
