Mora tells Denver, Philly to go scratch

UPDATE 5:57PM ET - According to Jay Glazer via Twitter, Jim Mora has decided not to take the DC position in either Denver or Philadelphia. And in case you didn't know, Jay Glazer is a very important person - how's that for a multi-functional tweet - reporting news and name dropping within the confines of a 140-character message! Here are Mason and LJ's stories on Mora's decision. Mason speculates that the Broncos' options may include Mike Trgovac and retaining Wink Martindale.

Original post 5:28PM ET - According to Mike Klis, Jim Mora is still considered the lead candidate to run Denver's defense despite having left Denver without a contract last night. He is reportedly waiting to speak with Eagles coach Andy Reid about the open DC position in Philly before making a decision on his future. No word on whether the Broncos are considering any candidates aside from Mora and Green Bay DL coach Mike Trgovac.

Meanwhile, former Chargers head coach Al Saunders interviewed today for the OC job in Oakland. Plus, check out this picture of the Crypt Keeper, as long as you aren't currently eating or drinking, or about to have a delicious meal...
