After San Diego's thorough 27-10 victory at Cincinnati, the Chargers will travel to Denver to face the top-seeded Broncos at 4:40pm ET next Sunday.

The last time these two teams met, in Week 15's Thursday night game, San Diego came away with a stunning 27-20 (Gut Reaction) upset.

Denver's 20 points, 19 first downs, 295 yards of total offense, and 18 rushing yards were all season lows, and San Diego's 177 rushing yards were the most the Broncos allowed all year.

The Broncos defense failed to force a turnover in four games this season, including both meetings with San Diego.

Interestingly, Phil Rivers completed just 12 passes in each of the Chargers' wins over the Broncos in Week 15 and the Bengals today, for just 294 combined yards and three touchdowns.

Once again, San Diego's running game was key, this time generating 196 yards and two touchdowns on 40 carries.

According to ANS, Denver's chances of reaching the Super Bowl have gone from 50% to 55% today; the Chargers rank #2 to Denver in offensive efficiency, are dead last on defense, and #15 overall.
