Broncos to play entire NFCW in 2013 preseason

The NFL announced its preliminary preseason schedule today, with the Broncos being featured in one of the 11 nationally televised games, at home against St. Louis.

Denver's slate will feature one game against each team from the NFCW:

  • Week 1: at San Francisco (Aug. 8-11)
  • Week 2: at Seattle (Aug. 15-19)
  • Week 3: vs. St. Louis (Sat. Aug. 24, 8pm ET on CBS)
  • Week 4: vs. Arizona (Aug. 29-30)

Dates and times will be finalized later in the month. The Broncos had hosted the Niners and Seahawks during the 2012 preseason, and they'll in turn visit them in 2013. Likewise, the team had traveled to Arizona to close out their 2012 exhibition schedule, and will instead host them in this year's finale.

The 2013 regular season schedule is expected to be announced on April 16. In addition to their home-and-home games against Oakland, Kansas City, and San Diego, the Broncos will host Baltimore, Washington, Philadelphia, Tennesee, and Jacksonville, and they'll travel to New Jersey to face the Giants, plus New England, Indianapolis, Dallas, and Houston.
