The Broncos have taken safety Jim Leonhard off the active PUP list, and he is practicing today.
Denver signed the eighth-year veteran on August 4, but his recovery from a torn patellar tendon had prevented him from taking part in practice or individual drills until today.
The addition of Leonhard, which follows by a day the return of fellow safety Quinton Carter to practice, will serve to bolster the team's depth at the position. Carter had been restricted to individual drills on Monday, but participated in full-squad practice today.
There's also a chance the former Badger ends up contributing as a punt returner, where Denver has had starting wideout Eric Decker atop the depth chart (probably reluctantly so, at that).
Anyway, what was I saying this morning? Yeah, never mind.
