By now everyone has heard: Bill Belichick thinks Wes Welker's hit on Aqib Talib in yesterday's game was one of the worst plays he's ever seen.
It's laughable of course. Many have pointed out that Julian Edelman's hit on Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie a series prior was actually more egregious. Watch the play and see for yourself. If anyone is going to get fined, it's Edelman, not Welker.
The claim is so absurd, Belichick doesn't believe it. The only reason he brought it up was for one reason and one reason alone: to take the heat off of Tom Brady.
It's easier for idiot Patriots fans--trust me, there are a lot of them--to fume over Wes Welker all offseason than it is to accept the fact that their golden boy was not only outplayed by Peyton Manning, but had one of the worst games of his career.
